Filet Burger with Aged Cheddar & Truffle Mayo

Are you a fan of filet mignon? Then you’ll adore the tender, succulent flavor of this precious cut in a hefty burger. Now take it to the next level with nutty, aged cheddar and a hint of truffle for a gourmet burger unlike any other!


  Ingredients

  • 4 Citarella Filet Burger Patties
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 4 buns
  • 4 slices aged cheddar cheese
  • Radicchio
  • Arugula
  • Truffle Mayo, for serving
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Citarella sides, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Coat with olive oil.
  2. Season burger patties with salt and pepper. Grill for 3+ minutes per side until you reach your desired internal temp. Top with cheese and cook an additional 1-2 minutes until melted. Rest for 2-3 minutes, covered, before serving.
  3. Meanwhile, grill buns until just golden.
  4. Serve burgers topped with radicchio and arugula and a generous drizzle of truffle mayo. Serve alongside your favorite Citarella sides and enjoy!
