Filet Mignon Crostini with Horseradish Sauce and Crispy Onions

This elegant appetizer pairs our tender filet mignon with the zest of horseradish sauce and the textural appeal of crunchy crostini and crispy onions. It’s the perfect bite when the party calls for something really spectacular.
Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 lb. Filet Mignon
- 3 bags Citarella crostini
- 1 container Citarella creamy horseradish sauce
- Crispy fried onions, for garnish (found in the grocery section)
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
- Flaky salt, for garnish
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit
- Season filet liberally with salt and pepper. vIn an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil and sear filet on all sides until golden brown.
- Transfer skillet to oven and cook until desired internal temperature; 20-25 minutes for 135 degrees Fahrenheit. Remove from oven and allow to rest for 10 minutes.
- Sliced filet thinly and place on top of crostini. Transfer crostini to a serving platter and spoon creamy horseradish sauce on top.
- Garnish each crostini with fresh parsley and crispy fried onions and enjoy!
