Grilled Barbecue Cauliflower Steaks

Our grill-ready cauliflower steaks are the perfect alternative to meat, especially when seasoned with zesty pork rub and barbecue sauce. Savory, light, and scrumptious!
Ingredients
- 8 Citarella cauliflower steaks
- 4 Tbsp Citarella Extra Virgin Olive Oil, divided
- 2 Tbsp Citarella Pork Rub
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 cup julienned carrots
- 1 cup julienned zucchini
- 1 cup julienned purple cabbage
- 1 Tbsp fresh parsley, minced
- 1/2 cup red onion, thinly sliced
- 2 Tbsp red wine vinegar
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
- BBQ Sauce, for serving
Instructions
- Preheat grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Season cauliflower steaks on both sides using 2 tablespoons olive oil, salt, pepper, and pork rub. Place on preheated grill and cook for 3-5 minutes per side until golden and nicely charred.
- Brush both sides with barbecue sauce and cook an additional 1 minute per side.
- Meanwhile, mix carrots, zucchini, cabbage, onion, and parsley together. Season with remaining olive oil, red wine vinegar, salt, and pepper.
- Place cauliflower steaks on serving platter and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve alongside Citarella Summer Slaw and enjoy!
