Maple Pecan Baked Brie

SERVES:    3-4

The caramel notes of pecans, maple syrup, and butter are the perfect foil for the richness of creamy brie. The warmth of the dish is enhanced by a touch of fresh thyme to bring this app over the top delicious!


  Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 2 Tbsp maple syrup
  • ¼ cup chopped pecans
  • 1 small wheel brie cheese
  • Flaky salt, to garnish
  • Fresh Thyme, to garnish
  • Citarella Baguette

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. In a nonstick skillet over medium melt butter with maple syrup.
  3. Add in chopped pecans and remove from the heat.
  4. Place brie into a small baking dish.* Pour the pecan mixture over the brie and bake for 10-12 minutes until bubbling.
  5. Remove from oven and sprinkle with flaky salt and fresh thyme.
  6. Serve with Citarella baguette and enjoy!
  7. *You can use a small cast iron, glass baking dish, round croc, or other oven proof baking dish.
