Pesto Broccoli Rabe and Burrata Pizza

Bright pesto and savory, sautéed broccoli rabe are baked with the pizza, then crowned with rich and creamy burrata. This is one to try for the home pizzaiolo who wants something distinctive and delicious.


  Ingredients

  • 1 ball Citarella pizza dough
  • ½ cup Citarella Pesto, divided
  • 1 cup Citarella sautéed broccoli rabe, cut into bite sized pieces
  • 1 ball burrata
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Citarella Olive Oil, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven with pizza stone to 450°F. Allow dough to come to room temperature.
  2. Stretch your pizza dough to a large round, making sure not to tear. Spread ½ of pesto sauce on dough, leaving some space for your crust. Top with broccoli rabe pieces; season with salt and pepper.
  3. Bake pizza for 8-12 minutes, rotating halfway through, until golden-brown and bubbly.
  4. Rest for 2-3 minutes before cutting. Cut open ball of burrata and spoon onto slices of pizza. Drizzle remaining pesto all over and enjoy!
