Smoked Salmon Toast

What a luxurious way to celebrate brunch, lunch or cocktail hour! Be sure to start with our high-quality selection of smoked salmon, and be generous with your crème fraiche. Of course, a dollop or more of fine salmon roe is the crowning glory!


  Ingredients

  • 4 oz smoked salmon, sliced thinly
  • 4 slices of bread
  • 1 garlic clove
  • ¼ cup crème fraîche
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 tsp fresh chives, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh dill, minced
  • 2 oz salmon roe
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Lightly toast bread and rub with raw garlic clove once toasted. Set aside.
  2. Season crème fraiche with lemon zest, salt, and pepper. Spread an even amount of crème fraîche on each slice of bread.
  3. Place salmon on top of crème fraiche and garnish with salmon roe and fresh herbs.
  4. Finish with cracked black pepper and enjoy!
