Pan Seared Branzino
SERVES: 4
PREP TIME: 2 minutes
TOTAL TIME: 10 minutes
COURSE: Main
Branzino has a tender, flaky meat that’s mild in flavor. We love this simple preparation that allows the clean taste of the fish to shine through. An accompaniment of seared lemons, along with Citarella Winter Squash and Sauteed Green Beans, makes this a quick, healthy and delicious meal.
Heat a large cast iron pan over high heat with olive oil.
Meanwhile, season branzino filets with salt and pepper.
Once pan is hot, cook branzino for about 2.5 minutes per side. Nestle lemons, cut side down in the pan and cook while cooking the branzino.
Remove cooked branzino filets and divide among four plates. Serve with Citarella Winter Squash, Citarella Sauteed Green Beans, and a charred half lemon. Enjoy!
