Enjoy Fresh, Never Frozen Seafood – Shipped Overnight! LEARN MORE
Sea trout is one of many treasures of the rich Atlantic right at our doorstep. Unfortunately nicknamed `weak fish` ironic for something so delicious. Far from bland, this creamy, coral-fleshed, wild caught fish is a meaty, flaky offering with a firmness that holds up to the cast-iron sauté pan. Its subtle sweetness and unmistakable ocean flavor are brought out nicely by a preparation of sherry, butter, and herbs.
Give Whole Wild Sea Trout a French flair by sauteing it in olive oil and our Herbs du Provence.
Portion Size
Our whole Wild Sea Trout is approximately 1.5-2 pounds per fish. We recommend 1 lb. of raw fish per person when serving whole fish. The size of this order is 1 fish (approx. 1.5-2 lbs per fish), which serves approx. 2 people.
"Try a glass of ros? from Provence, perhaps a lovely Cassis or the famous Bandol."
