Meaty, protein-rich frog legs are considered a delicacy from the brasseries of Lyon to the creole kitchens of Louisiana. Frog legs have a texture like chicken, and a mild, earthy flavor somewhere between poultry and fish. The height of adventurous to some-while the utmost traditional to others-pan-fried crispy frog legs with a sauce rich in butter and fragrant, chopped fresh parsley are a delicious departure from the ordinary. There are about 4-6 frog legs per pound. This is a special order item, based on market availability.
Our Frog Legs have 8-12 legs in our 2 pound portion. We recommend 8 ounces raw weight per person when serving various seafood items. The size of this order is 2 lbs (approx. 4-6 legs per lb), which serves approx. 4 people.
