Enjoy Fresh, Never Frozen Seafood – Shipped Overnight! LEARN MORE
At Citarella, we love all of our fish equally. But, not all fish are created equal. Black cod is special. This wild caught fish is sourced from the nutrient rich waters of America’s Pacific coast. It is rich and buttery and full of healthy fat. It’s firm and sweet. Baked with a miso-glaze—a preparation made famous at the game-changing Nobu— all it needs is a side of steamed white rice. Perfection.
Pan roast and top with spices, rubs or herbs. Black Cod fillet is rich, so the lighter the sauce, the better.
Portion Size
Each Black Cod fillet is approximately 6-8 ounces. We recommend 6-8 ounces raw weight per person when serving fish fillets and steaks. The size of this order is 4 portions (approx. 6-8 ounces per portion), which serves approx. 4 people.
"Go simple with black cod. Try California Sauvignon Blanc or an unoaked Chardonnay."
