Enjoy Fresh, Never Frozen Seafood – Shipped Overnight! LEARN MORE
Mighty in stature and majestic cutting through the water, the swordfish is prized in the Atlantic and the world over. It’s also a Citarella favorite for its firm, slightly sweet mild pink flesh and rich oil content. Our cuts are juicy, flavorful, and meaty—just like a fish steak should be. And they can handle the heat. With a dry rub and grilled over a hot coal fire, hearty and succulent wild caught swordfish steaks from Citarella promise to please a crowd.
Swordfish Steaks are perfect for high heat cooking, such as grilling or broiling. Brush on our Mediterranean Extra Virgin Olive Oil and grill. Best on the rare to medium side.
Portion Size
Our Wild Swordfish Steaks are approximately 6-8 ounces each. We recommend 6-8 ounces raw weight per person when serving fish fillets and steaks. The size of this order is 4 portions (approx. 6-8 ounces per portion), which serves approx. 4 people.
"A white wine from Sicily's Mt. Etna is an unbeatable pairing with swordfish."
