We work with trusted purveyors in Georgia and Florida to ensure we always have the finest, freshest rock shrimp for sale. These meaty, plump shrimp arrive shelled. (Removing the shells of rock shrimp can require the strength of Hercules). But it’s worth the work. Inside, rock shrimp are sweet and firm—just sauté for a flash and add to pasta with red sauce for a simple, delicious dinner. Expect about 20 to 25 shrimp per pound.
Boil Rock Shrimp for 1 minute and serve over pasta with vodka sauce, or dredge in flour and fry them up!
Portion Size
Our Rock Shrimp comes approximately 21-25 shrimp per pound. We recommend 4 ounces of shrimp for an appetizer or 8 ounces for an entrée. The size of this order is 2 lbs (approx. 20-25 shrimp per lb), which serves 4-8 people.
