Enjoy Fresh, Never Frozen Seafood – Shipped Overnight! LEARN MORE
This wild caught fish hails from the Atlantic. It’s a firm-fleshed fish with a mild flavor. But when it comes to taste and texture, no fish stands up better to the stew pot. When trying your hand at a Fisherman’s Wharf style cioppino, you can take your seafood soups to soul-warming levels with wild blackfish, line-caught near Montauk, and freshly sourced by Citarella gourmet market.
Brush on olive oil, season with salt and freshly ground pepper and bake this Wild Blackfish whole at 350 for 12 to 15 minutes.
Portion Size
Each Wild Blackfish is approximately 2 pounds. We recommend 1 lb. of raw fish per person when serving whole fish. The size of this order is 1 fish (approx. 2 lbs per fish), which serves approx. 2 people.
"Go simple with Blackfish. Try California Sauvignon Blanc or an unoaked Chardonnay."
