BBQ Rotisserie Chicken Sandwich with Slaw

This is a classic you wouldn’t be surprised finding at a good BBQ stop in the South. Using our already scrumptious Rotisserie Chicken makes this powerfully delicious sandwich really easy to prepare.


  Ingredients

  • 3 cups Citarella rotisserie chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 package of coleslaw vegetables (shredded cabbage and carrots)
  • 2 scallions, thinly sliced
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Brioche buns, for serving
  • Extra BBQ Sauce, for serving
  • Citarella sides, for serving

Instructions

  1. Mix chicken with BBQ sauce, and heat over low heat until warmed through.
  2. Meanwhile mix coleslaw vegetables with scallions, oil, and vinegar. Season with salt and pepper, and set aside.
  3. Toast your buns and top with BBQ chicken and slaw.
  4. Serve with more BBQ sauce and your favorite Citarella sides!
