Halloumi with Lemon Honey

Halloumi is a Mediterranean cheese that’s tangy and lightly salty. When traditionally grilled, it develops a wonderfully crisp and savory crust. The addition of honey and lemon here complements it beautifully.
Ingredients
1 pack of halloumi
2 Tbsp honey
2 Tbsp fresh thyme leaves, roughly chopped
1 Tbsp lemon zest
Olive Oil
Salt and pepper, to taste
Citarella Rustic Baguette, for serving
Citarella Olives, for serving
Instructions
Preheat nonstick pan over medium-high heat.
Season halloumi with salt and pepper. Sear halloumi for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
Meanwhile mix honey with lemon zest, and remaining olive oil, season with salt and pepper.
Place halloumi on serving platter, and top with honey mixture. Finish by squeezing the grilled lemon over top and finishing with fresh thyme.
