When grilling shrimp, simplicity and timing are everything. Simple seasoning, a nice olive oil and less than 2 minutes per side result in the best tasting shrimp ever. A great salad add-on!
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil, plus more for grates
4 wooden skewers
Sea salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
Instructions
Place the shrimp in a large bowl and drizzle with the olive oil. Using your hands, gently toss with the oil until fully coated.
Next, thread the shrimp onto a skewer, approximately 5 per skewer. Preheat your stovetop grill pan or outdoor grill over the highest heat. Brush or spray the grates with oil. Once it’s hot, grill the shrimp for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes per side. Remove from the grill and season to taste with salt and pepper.
Pro Tip: Soak your wooden skewers in warm water for approximately 30 minutes before adding your shrimp.
