Enjoy Fresh, Never Frozen Seafood – Shipped Overnight! LEARN MORE
Native to the Pacific Northwest, wild sockeye salmon are firm, nutty and known for their alluring rich red hue. Very lean from running against strong cold-water currents (and perhaps from bears), this smaller salmon species is sourced from Oregon and Washington only at the height of summer (usually June through August). Grilled or smoked, and bold-flavored enough to hold up to fragrant herbs, peppery spices, and citrus zest, vibrant red sockeye salmon fillets are the choice for the discerning palate unafraid to answer the call of the wild.
We love baking Wild Sockeye Salmon fillet with a dash of sea salt and our cold-pressed olive oils.
Portion Size
Our Wild Sockeye Salmon fillet is 6-8 ounces each. We recommend 6-8 ounces raw weight per person when serving fish fillets and steaks. The size of this order is 2 portions (approx. 6-8 ounces per portions), which serves approx. 2 people.
"Choose a lighter red Burgundy, like Bourgogne rouge or even Chambolle-Musigny."
