Morbier Fondue
SERVES: 4-6
PREP TIME: 5 minutes
TOTAL TIME: 10 minutes
COURSE: Starter

Morbier is a strongly aromatic cheese with a surprisingly mild flavor and nutty aftertaste. It’s ideal for a classic fondue, with a nice acidity from the wine and fragrance of garlic to balance the creaminess.
Ingredients
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup white wine
- 4 cups grated Morbier cheese
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Cured meat, for serving
- Boiled potatoes, for serving
- Citarella Cornichon, for serving
- Cubed Citarella baguette, for serving
Instructions
- In a non-stick pan over medium-low heat, add wine and minced garlic. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until garlic is tender.
- Add Morbier cheese to wine mixture and stir with a whisk to melt the cheese. Season with salt and pepper and pour into a fondue pot to keep warm.
- Arrange the potatoes, cured meats, cornichon, and bread around fondue and dip to your heart’s desire!
