Shrimp Cocktail

Ingredients
- 24 raw large shrimp (about 16-20 per pound), peeled and deveined
- Sea salt to taste
- Cocktail sauce store bought or homemade, for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Fill a medium pot with 1 inch of water and bring it to a boil over high heat. Meanwhile, fill a large bowl halfway with cool water and set aside
- Once the water boils, add the shrimp. Cover and cook for 2 minutes
- Immediately drain the shrimp and transfer them to the bowl of cool water to stop the cooking process.
- Season the shrimp by salting the cool water and stirring the water slightly.
- When the shrimp are cool, drain them and serve with cocktail sauce (or if you’re like me, don’t).
